The A rated boiler has a built in boiler display system which provides diagnostic information for easy servicing and commissioning and a 2 year guarantee. The ecoTEC range also has a variable termination flue system for awkward installations.

Timeswitch 150 Mechanical Clock
A 24 hour analogue central heating timer

The timer plugs directly into the boiler fascia without the need for any wiring. An over-ride switch is also included.

The timeSWITCH 150 works in conjunction with ecoTEC combination models and provides basic 24hr timing for central heating.

An additional room thermostat (e.g.: VRT 50) should be used for temperature control.

Timeswitch 160 Digital Clock
A plug-in 7 day or 24 hour digital programmer for ecoTEC boilers

The timeSWITCH 160 has independent time control for central heating and hot water.

When used with a system or open vent boiler an additional VR 65 Control Centre is required. The timeSWITCH 160 hot water channel can then be used to time the hot water cylinder charging. An additional room thermostat (e.g. VRT 30) should be used for central heating temperature control.

The programmer has 3 independent on/off periods per day, central heating advance function and holiday set-back function.
The timeSWITCH 160 cannot be used with the VRT 50 room thermostat.

VRC470 Digital Weather Compensator Wired

The Weather Compensator VRC 470 permanently monitors the outside temperature and adapts the boiler output to maintain the desired room temperature. Therefore the VRC 470 achieves fuel savings by delivering the right amount of energy to maintain a constant room temperature by constantly adjusting the boiler to the required output level.
The VRC 470 has 3 independent time periods per day to adapt the heating and hot water supply to your daily schedule. It can be installed in the boiler fascia or on the wall inside your living area. Installed in your living area the VRC 470 acts as a room thermostat controlling the heat output of the boiler to maintain a set room temperature during the defined time programme. The VRC 470 can be used with all ecoTEC boilers

VR81/2 Remote Control Unit for VRC470
VR 81/2 remote control unit for use with the VRC 470 or VRC 470f

The VR 81/2 can be used as a remote control unit for the Weather Compensators VRC 470 or VRC 470f. The display of the VR 81/2 shows the current room temperature. With the "turn and click" handling, the desired room temperature can easily be changed.

The Remote Control Unit VR81/2 has two possible functions: In a single-zone heating system, the VR 81/2 will be installed on the wall inside your living area while the Weather Compensator VRC 470 remains in the boiler fascia. When used with a 2-zone heating system the VR 81/2 would become the room thermostat for the second heating zone while the Weather Compensator VRC 470 or VRC 470f would act as room thermostat for the first heating zone.

For this installation an additional VR 61/2 Wiring centre would be required.

ecoTEC VR65 Control Centre
The VR 65 Control Centre is the heart of the Vaillant total system solution.

The VR 65 Control Centre has been designed to allow Vaillant low voltage 'ebus' controls to be integrated within traditional 230V S-plan or Y-plan type installations to provide total system solution.

ecoTEC VRT50 Electronic Room Stat
Easy to install as it only requires a two-wire connection to the boiler. The digital display shows the current room temperature and is for use with ecoTEC plus combination boilers and timeSWITCH 150 central heating timer.

To increase or decrease the room temperature, the home owner simply turns the dial and the display then shows the set temperature.

The VRT 50 cannot be used with the timeSWITCH 160.

ecoTec VRT30 Room Thermostat
A compact analogue room thermostat

Efficient control of heating can help to reduce heating costs. For example a 1°C reduction in room temperature can save up to 10% on heating costs. The VRT 30 is suitable for use in 230V external control systems. The VRT 30 room thermostat works in conjunction with all ecoTEC models.

The VRT 30 can be used with the following Vaillant timers:

timeSWITCH 150 - For combination boilers only
timeSWITCH 160 - For combination, system and open vent boilers

Programmable Room Control

The Programmable Room Control VRT 350 permanently monitors the room temperature and adapts the boiler output to maintain the desired room temperature. Therefore the VRT 350 achieves fuel savings by delivering the right amount of energy to maintain a constant room temperature by constantly adjusting the boiler to the required output level.

The VRT 350 has 3 independent time periods per day to adapt the heating and hot water supply to your daily schedule. However if you want to adjust your time programmes temporarily an advanced heating function to override the current time programme will be available.

Vaillant's ecoLEVEL condensate pump pumps condensate from the boiler solving the problems encountered where a high efficiency boiler is installed remotely from the waste drain system.
Small and neat in appearance, the ecoLEVEL condensate pump is also extremely quiet when running, and will be unobtrusive when installed in almost all areas of the home.
Two status indictators on the pump show when the pump is operating and when there is a fault. The integrated alarm cable is fitted with connectors to enable simple connection to ecoTEC high efficiency boilers.
